Liam<\/a> and Noel Gallagher<\/a> took to the stage in front of close to 80,000 fans in Cardiff this evening<\/a>. It was a moment even the most diehard of Oasis <\/a>fans never thought they\u2019d ever see again.<\/p>\n When the brothers sensationally split in 2009, at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris, it seemed definite. The back and forth on social media – and in interviews from both Liam and Noel – certainly seemed to confirm so.<\/p>\n Then, in August last year, a message was shared with fans. “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. Walking out side-by-side<\/a> with Liam’s arm around Noel’s shoulders, it was a demonstration of brotherly love and set the tone for what was going to be a momentous night for both fans and the band.<\/p>\n Starting off with Hello, as many fans may have predicted, the show was a tour-de-force of their biggest hits, B-sides and fan favourites.<\/p>\n They were joined by Bonehead,<\/a> complete with his signature guitar, an Epiphone Riviera, who stood in the middle of the stage at the Principality Stadium.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n Sharing the photo on Twitter, the Oasis account let the picture do the talking without a caption. But it was enough to get fans feeling nostalgic.<\/p>\n One person said: “Adore this pic – just makes me so happy for them.” Another said: “I want this framed on my living room wall.”<\/p>\n And asides from the fans in attendance, it felt like many outside of the stadium also felt emotional at the band getting back together<\/a>.<\/p>\n “I’m actually in tears here,” one fan said. “Never thought I would ever see this.
