Manchester City kept their quest for UEFA Champions League qualification alive on Saturday with a stunning response to going two goals down at home to Crystal Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was Kevin De Bruyne<\/a> who inspired the turnaround in the 5-2 win<\/a>, in his first home match since announcing he will be leaving Man City<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

The Belgian began the comeback with a beautifully taken free-kick before his header back across goal, via a touch off Ilkay Gundogan<\/a>, led to Omar Marmoush<\/a> levelling the scores before half-time.<\/p>\n

De Bruyne then laid the ball off for Mateo Kovacic<\/a> to fire Man City in front two minutes into the second half, one of three big chances he created.<\/p>\n

It is therefore no surprise that the Premier League’s record goalscorer Alan Shearer<\/a> has picked De Bruyne in his Premier League Team Of The Week.<\/p>\n
