{"id":239382,"date":"2025-07-05T06:13:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T06:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/239382\/"},"modified":"2025-07-05T06:13:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T06:13:09","slug":"how-to-watch-the-tour-de-france-tv-channel-and-live-stream-for-grand-depart-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/239382\/","title":{"rendered":"How to watch the Tour de France: TV channel and live stream for grand depart today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The highlight of the annual cycling calendar is finally here, as the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/topic\/tour-de-france\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tour de France<\/a> gets underway in Lille.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition will be held entirely within France for the first time since 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Depart, the first of 21 stages, will be held in Lille before the circus winds its way through the rest of France and finishes on the famed Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>UAE Team Emirates\u2019 formidable Slovenian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/topic\/tadej-pogacar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tadej Pogacar<\/a> is, as ever, the favourite to don the maillot jaune as he chases a fourth general classification crown.<\/p>\n<p>He will be pushed all the way, though, by Visma-Lease a Bike\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/topic\/jonas-vingegaard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jonas Vingegaard<\/a>, himself a two-time GC champion.<\/p>\n<p>Also in the field are the double Olympic gold medallist Remco Evenepoel, who dominated the streets of Paris last summer,  Wout van Aert, and Mathieu van der Poel.<\/p>\n<p>The twins Adam and Simon Yates, representing UAE Team Emirates and Visma, respectively, will carry the flag for the United Kingdom. <\/p>\n<p>Simon, 32, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/sport\/cycling\/simon-yates-wins-giro-d-italia-rome-british-cycling-b1230703.html\" title=\"Britain&#039;s Simon Yates secures first Giro d&#039;Italia title after final stage in Rome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">won the Giro d\u2019Italia earlier this year<\/a>, coming from nowhere in the dying moments of the competition, but will likely play a supporting role as a domestique to his teammate Vingegaard in France.<\/p>\n<p>How to watch the Tour de France 2025<\/p>\n<p>TV channel: The Tour de France will be broadcast live in its entirety on TNT Sports and for FREE on ITV 4.<\/p>\n<p>Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can follow the action live online via the Discovery+ app and website. Coverage will also be available online for FREE via ITVX.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights: Highlights shows will be broadcast regularly on TNT Sports and online with the Discovery+ app and website.
