His monstrous back development and overall mass ushered in a new era of bodybuilding.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although he resides in retirement today, Yates doesn\u2019t shy away from conversations about training or bodybuilding. He has very good proportions, no real weak body parts. Nice physique. So, I would say yeah, probably Chris Bumstead.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As for the Men\u2019s Open division, Yates gave credit to Hadi Choopan, who from the front, boasts top-notch conditioning levels. However, he believes due to Choopan\u2019s short stature, people outside of bodybuilding would likely assume that \u2018Cbum\u2019 is the best in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\">\n<p>\u201cThe guys that\u2019s in the Open, I mean, Hadi comes in good shape from the front, not from the back, but from the front he\u2019s in good shape. But he\u2019s very small, he\u2019s a short guy, blocky, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think \u2014 no disrespect to anyone individually, but I don\u2019t think people can really relate even if you showed that to the average guy on the street or the average gym goer that that\u2019s the best bodybuilder in the world. I think they\u2019d be a bit confused as to why that is.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He mentioned that if Chris Bumstead wants a true challenge, he might entertain a move up to the Men\u2019s Open class.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cYeah, they would relate to that [Chris Bumstead] because he\u2019s a bit like Arnold or something like that,\u201d said Dorian Yates. \u201cWhether it would be worth making that jump to the Open, probably not because he\u2019s so established and everything but if he\u2019s looking for a challenge maybe that would be one,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L6J3V-qVCxo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared<\/a> Dorian Yates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yates isn\u2019t the first person to suggest<a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/iain-valliere-critiques-nick-walker-chris-bumstead-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Chris Bumstead try out an Open class competition<\/a>. Retired Men\u2019s Open Pro Iain Valliere, who is also Bumstead\u2019s brother-in-law, believes the Canadian champ could find success at just about any Open Pro show he enters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bumstead has teased the idea of competing in the Open as well.
