Coleen Nolan<\/a> has described the sweeping changes coming to ITV\u2019s daytime schedule as \u201cdevastating,\u201d admitting that many staff<\/a> on Loose Women are now living in a state of limbo.<\/p>\n The popular daytime panel show, which celebrated Coleen\u2019s 25th year earlier in 2024, is one of several shows affected by ITV\u2019s<\/a> decision to overhaul its daytime line-up.<\/p>\n Under the new plans, Loose Women will be cut down to just 30 weeks a year, with production teams across This Morning, Lorraine, and Loose Women set to be merged.<\/p>\n While the show itself is not coming to an end, Coleen has voiced deep concern over what the changes could mean for long-standing members of the behind-the-scenes team.<\/p>\n \u201cThe crew have become family. I\u2019ve watched them grow,\u201d she told Notebook magazine. \u201cSome of our runners from back in the day are producers, married with kids. I\u2019ve shared my life with them. They\u2019re in limbo, not knowing what they\u2019re going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cLoose Women isn\u2019t ending, which I\u2019m so thankful for, but it\u2019s changing. It\u2019s going to be very different in the respect of the size of the crew, but it\u2019s still running.<\/p>\n “Which it should be, there isn\u2019t another show that celebrates and supports all women of every size, age, whatever.<\/p>\n \u201cBut it\u2019s heartbreaking to see some of my colleagues not knowing what they\u2019re going to do. Many of them have young families and mortgages.\u201d<\/p>\n ITV insiders have told The Mirror<\/a> that the on-screen panel is expected to remain largely unchanged, but confirmed that a number of redundancies are likely among the production staff.
