Catterall is seeking a swift return to winning ways after being edged out by Arnold Barboza Jr<\/a> in a gutting split-decision loss back in February which wrecked his world title hopes for the time being.<\/p>\n

It was American Barboza Jr who ended up claiming the interim WBO title in a final eliminator at 140 pounds, earning a shot at full champion Teofimo Lopez, losing on points in New York in May.<\/p>\n

Catterall vowed to respond quickly but there was plenty of surprise when he moved up to take a fight against Eubank, the nephew of Chris Eubank Sr and cousin of Chris Eubank Jr who is still unbeaten at 21-0 but faces a huge step up on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

He was last in action in March in his hometown of Brighton, stopping Northern Ireland\u2019s Tyrone McKenna in the 10th round to claim the IBF Inter-continental welterweight title.<\/p>\n

Eubank is certainly no pushover and remains unbeaten, but has never fought above domestic level and this represents a significant step up from anything he has faced before.<\/p>\n

Catterall is without a knockout win since 2019 and quick stoppages are not really his style, but he\u2019ll be under pressure to achieve victory in emphatic fashion here.<\/p>\n

We expect him to dominate from the outset and likely score a couple of knockdowns, but eventually win comfortably on the cards.<\/p>\n
