Maybe. But it\u2019s too much of a coincidence to be accidental, right? Right? The two only attended two Wimbledons together\u2014the first in 2018, and the second in 2019\u2014but they weren\u2019t alone for the latter, as Kate\u2019s younger sister <a class=\"recommendation-inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instyle.com\/kate-middleton-attends-wimbledon-princess-charlotte-pippa-8677746\" link-destination-recommendation=\"true\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pippa Middleton<\/a> also joined. So, that said, 2018 at Wimbledon marked a major moment in Kate and Meghan\u2019s relationship\u2014which appeared perfectly friendly, at least as far as the public could see.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_9-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> At Wimbledon in 2018, Meghan wore a blue and white striped Ralph Lauren Capri shirt and paired the cotton poplin shirt with a pair of wide-leg white pants. Flash forward to July 2 of this year, and Kate wore that same Ralph Lauren Capri shirt to a surprise royal engagement at Colchester Hospital\u2014but hers was tan and white striped. But then, on July 4, Meghan appeared on Instagram wearing her blue and white striped Wimbledon shirt from seven years ago\u2014just two days after Kate wore the same style. Maybe nothing, or maybe it\u2019s an unspoken hello from across the pond. (A girl can dream.) After all, Kate was very vulnerable this week, sharing her raw and candid experiences of cancer treatment both during and after, calling it \u201clife-changing\u201d and a \u201crollercoaster.\u201d Maybe Meghan saw Kate\u2019s appearance on Wednesday and was inspired to bring the chic Ralph Lauren shirt back out on Friday. Maybe we\u2019re overanalyzing (it\u2019s very possible). But it is worth noting that the two women wore the same shirt in a different colorway that was worn at one of their few joint engagements\u2014just saying.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> Meghan Markle on July 4, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>As Ever\/Meghan, Duchess of Sussex\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> For her appearance on Wednesday, Kate paired the Capri shirt with a symbolic Blaz\u00e9 Milano pinstriped blazer, worn when the Princess of Wales gave an update on her cancer treatment on June 14, 2024, specifically sharing that, though she wasn\u2019t \u201cout of the woods\u201d yet, she would be attending Trooping the Colour the next day\u2014her first public appearance of the entirety of 2024. For the July 2 appearance, she added brown cigarette pants and white and rose gold Veja sneakers to complete the look.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_20-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> She accessorized Wednesday with a Bali Birthstone necklace from Auree Jewellery featuring her birthstone, garnet, as well as Cartier Trinity earrings.
