{"id":241095,"date":"2025-07-05T21:44:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T21:44:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/241095\/"},"modified":"2025-07-05T21:44:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T21:44:16","slug":"sporting-lisbons-viktor-gyokeres-rejects-two-monster-offers-amid-arsenal-man-united-transfer-talk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/241095\/","title":{"rendered":"Sporting Lisbon&#8217;s Viktor Gyokeres &#8216;rejects two monster offers&#8217; amid Arsenal, Man United transfer talk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sporting Lisbon&#8217;s Viktor Gyokeres reportedly rejects two enormous offers from the Saudi Pro League, as he is intent on moving to the Premier League this summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/sporting-lisbon\/\" title=\"More Sporting Lisbon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Sporting Lisbon<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/viktor-gyokeres\/\" title=\"More Viktor Gyokeres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Viktor Gyokeres<\/strong><\/a> has reportedly rejected two enormous offers from the Saudi Pro League, as the Sweden international pushes to make the move to the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>The centre-forward scored 54 goals and registered 13 assists in 52 appearances for Sporting during the 2024-25 campaign, and he is viewed as one of the best attackers in world football.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/arsenal\/\" title=\"More Arsenal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Arsenal<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/man-utd\/\" title=\"More Manchester United\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Manchester United<\/strong><\/a> continue to be linked with the 27-year-old, with the former seen as the favourites, although a switch to Old Trafford has not been completely ruled out at this stage of proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.record.pt\/futebol\/futebol-nacional\/liga-betclic\/sporting\/detalhe\/gyokeres-resiste-aos-milhoes-da-arabia-premier-league-e-a-prioridade?ref=HP_2BucketDestaquesPrincipais\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Record<\/a>, Gyokeres has received two &#8216;monster&#8217; offers from Saudi Arabia, with\u00a0Al Qadsiah FC and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/al-hilal\/\" title=\"More Al-Hilal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Al-Hilal<\/strong><\/a> both promising him a substantial salary to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n<p>However, the striker has made it clear that he wants to move to England&#8217;s top flight this summer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"imgI\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Viktor Gyokeres celebrates after scoring for Sporting Lisbon on December 14, 2024\" class=\"vanilla-lazyload article-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/25\/23\/viktor-gyokeres.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Gyokeres &#8216;only wants Premier League move&#8217; this summer<\/p>\n<p>Gyokeres has a\u00a0\u20ac100m (\u00a385m) release clause in his contract in Lisbon, and there have been contrasting reports throughout the summer when it comes to the Portuguese club&#8217;s asking price.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Viktor will not leave for \u20ac60m (\u00a351.2m) plus \u20ac10m (\u00a38.5m) in add-ons. It&#8217;s not about trying to gain something, it&#8217;s that he simply will not leave for that \u2013 absolutely will not,&#8221; club president\u00a0Frederico Varandas recently told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ojogo.pt\/2411946787\/varandas-repete-garantia-sobre-gyokeres-e-diz-acredito-que-possa-sair-a-nao-ser-que-tenha-o-pior-agente-do-mundo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O Jogo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If Viktor stays, we will be very, very happy \u2013 and it will be a problem for our rivals. We are completely prepared to move for our target if Viktor leaves.
