There\u2019s a perfect storm at Silverstone \u2013 but one would hope only in the purely metaphorical sense. The combination of circuit layout, track temperatures and wind conditions have presented us with a Grand Prix that is anyone\u2019s for the taking.<\/p>\n
The circuit suits Red Bull<\/a>, and Max Verstappen<\/a> has pole, while the Ferrari<\/a> upgrade that looked good in Austria also looks great here. The lower temperatures that arrived yesterday have bought Mercedes<\/a> to the party and, while the McLarens<\/a> have looked slightly out-of-sorts all weekend, there’s plenty to suggest that they\u2019re still first among equals on race pace.<\/p>\n The gaps are being measured in hundredths rather than tenths this weekend and no-one\u2019s sure which way it\u2019s going to go.
