Love Island enthusiasts reckon they’ve sussed out Conor’s genuine motives following his shocking decision at the latest recoupling, which left fellow islanders gobsmacked.<\/p>\n

Friday’s gripping episode of the ITV2 romance-fuelled series (4 July) saw another round of recoupling, where Conor made headlines by choosing Yasmin over Billykiss, catching her off guard.<\/p>\n

Observers now suspect that Conor’s selection was swayed by interest in another girl, deducing this after he seemed to goad Shakira into calling time on her fling with Harry, amidst a challenging period for them both.<\/p>\n

ITV2 loyalty suggests that Conor partnered with Yasmin merely as a stopgap while plotting a move towards Shakira.<\/p>\n

Social media was abuzz, with one user remarking: “Okay but Ben should’ve went last cause Conor would’ve chosen Shakira then.” Another commented: “The couple that would make the most sense is Conor and Shakira.”<\/p>\n

One more speculated: “I think Conor is just using Yasmin and really wants Shakira.”<\/p>\n

And yet another chimed in: “Conor doesn’t want Billykiss or Yasmin, he’s got his eye on Shakira.”<\/p>\n

When it was time to explain his choice, Conor said: “The last couple of days have been interesting, I’ve obviously been getting to know one person, we have loads to talk about.<\/p>\n

“I would like to couple up with this girl because I don’t really know her as well as I probably should and I this will be a good opportunity to get to know her.<\/p>\n

“Obviously I find this girl attractive and over the last while she’s really changed my opinion on her and I never really got the chance.”<\/p>\n

It appears the theory may be inaccurate however, as post-recoupling proceedings saw Conor and Yasmin ascend to the terrace for a smooch, reports OK!<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other news, Shakira found herself partnered up with Ben in a fresh coupling, whilst Harry chose to recouple with Helena, reigniting their love amidst abundant turmoil.<\/p>\n

Yet, the anticipation intensifies as the island prepares for the forthcoming drama with Casa Amor’s iconic return slated to shake things up during the episode on Sunday (6 July).<\/p>\n

The notorious Casa Amor twist traditionally introduces six new lasses joining the lads, as the original girls move to another villa, welcoming half a dozen new fellows.<\/p>\n

Teasing the impending excitement, Meg is shown receiving a message stating: “Please welcome Yaz, Lauren, Andrada, Lucy, Rheo, and Emma.”<\/p>\n

The sneak peek concludes with Harry visibly shocked and uttering: “Oh my god, it’s my ex!”<\/p>\n
