King Charles may take the fall to shield Prince William from intense backlash\u00a0<\/p>\n

King Charles may \u201csacrifice\u201d himself and \u201csave\u201d the future king, Prince William, by taking a huge step against Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.<\/p>\n

The royal titles of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s kids could be quietly removed before the Prince of Wales takes the throne, a royal commentator has suggested. <\/p>\n

Writing for Daily Mail Australia, Sharon Hunt said the British Royal Family might follow the example of Denmark\u2019s Queen Margrethe, who removed the titles of four of her grandchildren in 2022 to modernise the monarchy. <\/p>\n

While the move caused tension at first, the family eventually moved on, with Prince Joachim later attending his brother\u2019s coronation. <\/p>\n

Hunt suggested Charles could do the same by \u201csacrificing\u201d himself and removing Archie and Lilibet\u2019s HRH status now.<\/p>\n

“Adopting the Danish royal family’s blueprint for title removal could potentially not only keep William’s hands clean, but it may even hold the door ajar (even if by just an inch!) for a future reconciliation between the warring brothers,\u201d she penned.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it requires the agreement and participation of King Charles,\u201d added Hunt. “What the British incumbent can do during his time in charge is provide surety and stability for the next generation by making a tough call.\u201d<\/p>\n
