The festival is coming to Liverpool for the first time next month from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Now, in what Radio 1 has described as an \u201cexciting first for Big Weekend 2025\u201d, the festival will feature a performance from Radio 1 Anthems acts \u2013 celebrating iconic tracks and unforgettable moments from the past two decades of music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">These headline acts will see Unwritten singer Natasha Bedingfield performing on Friday, May 23 and legendary pop group the Sugababes taking to the stage on Saturday, May 24.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Speaking about the announcement, Natasha Bedingfield said: \u201cIt\u2019s a big deal to be part of Radio 1\u2019s Big Weekend. I can&#8217;t wait to jump up on stage and sing my heart out with everyone. Let\u2019s hope some inhibitions get released!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The Sugababes added: \u201cWe\u2019re buzzing to be playing Radio 1\u2019s Big Weekend! We\u2019ve heard amazing things about the energy and the crowds, so we\u2019re excited to be part of it this year. The Grammy-nominated trio join an already stellar line-up featuring some of the biggest names in music including Sam Fender, Tate McRae, Mumford &amp; Sons, JADE, Tom Grennan, Confidence Man, Lola Young, AJ Tracey plus many more. The final games of the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/barclays-premier-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League<\/a> season will also take place on Sunday, with Everton to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-fc\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Liverpool<\/a> hosting Crystal Palace at<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/anfield\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Anfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The latter fixture that could culminate in the Reds lifting the<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/barclays-premier-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Premier League<\/a> trophy in front of 60,000 fans.
