Aldi has announced a strict one-per-person limit on a new \u00a314.95 item which has been unveiled in one of its Manchester stores today.<\/p>\n
Shoppers will only be allowed to pick up one of the store’s new limited-edition Supernova Champagne bottles, which have been released today in Aldi’s Bury<\/a> New Road branch ahead of Oasis’ upcoming Manchester gigs.<\/p>\n The release of the \u00a314.95 bottles comes as Oasis <\/a>kicked off their reunion tour on Friday in Cardiff, at the Principality Stadium.<\/p>\n With the brothers next heading to Manchester to play their first hometown show since their split this week, the commemorative bottles have been released exclusively in Aldi’s Bury New Road – just a stone’s throw away from Heaton Park<\/a> where the brothers will first play on Friday, July 11.<\/p>\n Stay connected with our City Life newsletter here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n With the bottles in limited stock, shoppers have been urged to act fast to get their hands on one of the celebratory drinks. However, Aldi hopes that the enforcement of a one-per-customer rule on the bottles will allow as many Oasis fans as possible to get their hands on the drink.<\/p>\n The new bottles have been created using Aldi\u2019s award-winning Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut, with the bottle receiving a new \u2018Supernova\u2019 design to commemorate Oasis’s well-loved Britpop hit.<\/p>\n With the bottles unveiled in-store today, July 7, Oasis fans have already been heading to the store’s Bury New Road branch to pick up one of the keepsakes themselves.<\/p>\n One fan from Manchester, Derrick Smith, said: “I left at quarter past six and waited an hour before the store opened \u2013 the bottle looks amazing.”<\/p>\n Other fans have also claimed to have travelled from outside of Greater Manchester to pick up the exclusive drink. Oasis fan, Jack Blake, said: “I drove from London for the Champagne after I saw the post. I thought, I must try and get a bottle!”<\/p>\n On the release, Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We\u2019re thrilled to launch Supernova Champagne, a special, limited-edition rebrand of our award-winning Veuve Monsigny.
