First-look videos and photos for Born With Teeth in London\u2019s West End.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As anticipation builds for one of this summer\u2019s hottest West End premieres, a brand-new behind-the-scenes video has been released offering a first glimpse into the world of Born With Teeth<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 the thrilling new drama by Liz Duffy Adams starring Ncuti Gatwa<\/a><\/strong> (Doctor Who, The Importance of Being Earnest, Sex Education) and Edward Bluemel<\/strong><\/a> (Killing Eve, Sex Education, My Lady Jane).<\/p>\n

Filmed during the official photo shoot for the production, the video features Royal Shakespeare Company Co-Artistic Director Daniel Evans sharing his excitement about bringing Born With Teeth to the London stage. As he speaks, audiences are treated to candid footage of Gatwa and Bluemel \u2014 who play rival playwrights Christopher Marlowe and William Shakespeare \u2014 as they step into character for the photo shoot.<\/p>\n

The two-hander imagines an electrifying fictional encounter between Shakespeare and Marlowe, set in 1591 in the backroom of a London pub.<\/p>\n

It is a dangerous time for artists: the country is full of conspiracy and paranoia. When writing sensations Kit Marlowe and Will Shakespeare are forced together in a creative union, with the table as their stage and battlefield, they sharpen their pens \u2013 and let their genius fly. Across three secret meetings, the rivals duel and flirt like their lives depend on it \u2013 and with spies everywhere, betrayal is so tempting.<\/p>\n

Liz Duffy Adams\u2019 darkly comic play is coming to the West End\u2019s Wyndham\u2019s Theatre in London, playing from 13 August to 1 November 2025. Tickets for the show are on sale now with West End Theatre.<\/p>\n

Born With Teeth is produced by the RSC and Playful Productions, and is directed by Daniel Evans (Quiz). The creative team also includes design by Joanna Scotcher, lighting design by Neil Austin, and casting by Charlotte Sutton, with further creatives to be announced.<\/p>\n
