A woman who tragically died after falling from a building in Manchester city centre<\/a> can be named today as widely-respected charity fundraiser Rachel O’Hare.<\/p>\n Ms O’Hare, who was living in Manchester and aged in her 40s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene on Great Ancoats Street on Monday, June 30.<\/a><\/p>\n Her death is not being treated by police as suspicious.<\/p>\n Originally from the Wirral Ms O’Hare, believed to be a mother, co-founded a charity called Elle for Elle, which worked to help vulnerable women in refuges.<\/p>\n The aim was to support women in need with basic toiletries and beauty products, with the charity’s work said to have been praised in Westminster. According to Companies House, Elle for Elle was dissolved in 2022.<\/p>\n Ms O’Hare is also believed to have held a role with The Cheshire Magazine, involving coordinating charity events in the Cheshire area and farther afield.<\/p>\n Manchester Coroners’ Court has confirmed a file of evidence in respect of Ms O’Hare’s death has been received.<\/p>\n No date for an inquest opening has been set, however.<\/p>\n Never miss a story with the MEN’s daily Catch Up newsletter – get it in your inbox by signing up here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n An area around the Leonardo Hotel and Victoria House apartments on Great Ancoats Street was cordoned off, with a police scene in place after the incident.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called at around 7am.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1751945053_724_1_Rachel-OHare.jpg\")
