A new Merseyside rap star is in the making after taking home Best Original Song at the Primal Live song contest at Camp & Furnace. Harris Eaglestone, 19, from Southport<\/a>, is now looking to take his music to the next level.<\/p>\n

The event saw more than 30 artists and bands battle it out for top honours. But it wasn\u2019t just a showcase of musical talent \u2013 it also raised vital funds for The Whitechapel Centre, a Liverpool<\/a> charity supporting people experiencing homelessness.<\/p>\n

Eaglestone captivated both audience and judges with his debut track ‘Reminisce’. The emotionally charged song deals with addiction, trauma and family struggles. <\/p>\n

When he applied to Liverpool Music Academy, he didn\u2019t have enough UCAS points, but the college saw something in him and offered him a place. It was there that he met fellow students Tyron and Sydney, who quickly recognised his gift and pushed him to apply for Primal Live. <\/p>\n

With their encouragement, Eaglestone stepped into the spotlight, performing not only Reminisce but also the equally impressive ‘How D\u2019Ya Know Me’. The songs showcased a lyrical depth and authenticity that stunned the audience and judges alike.<\/p>\n
