Texans are urged to remain weather aware, heed the guidance of local officials, and regularly monitor weather forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>Texas will remain engaged until every missing person is found and every Texan recovers from this disaster.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">Abbott has advised Texans to regularly check weather updates. Photograph: Anadolu\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">Other counties in Texas have reported casualties, including seven deaths in <strong>Travis County<\/strong>, six in <strong>Kendall<\/strong>, four in <strong>Burnet<\/strong>, two in <strong>Williamson<\/strong>, and one in <strong>Tom Green<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The New York Times and CNN are among the media outlets to be reporting that at least 104 people have been killed across the entire flood zone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">Texas\u2019s governor, Greg Abbott, said that rescuers are continuing to search for dozens of missing people across the state, with over 20 state agencies and 1,750 personnel responding to the floods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The Guadalupe River rose 26ft (8 meters) in 45 minutes in Friday\u2019s pre-dawn hours, after a downpour north of San Antonio.
