A Sheffield Wednesday transfer update has been shared, with a deal now close to being completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Sheffield Wednesday have a triple transfer embargo<\/a> following their ongoing financial problems.<\/p>\n

It means signings at Hillsborough this summer are very unlikely, with the club only able to offer wages up to \u00a37,000.<\/p>\n

As a result, the focus so far has largely been on which stars are going to be leaving the club this summer.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday will lose Mallik Wilks<\/a> after his contract expired, with a move to Turkey now on the cards.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another talent is now expected to secure a move to a Premier League side in the current transfer window.<\/p>\n

It was reported last week that Manchester City want to sign Romario Collins<\/a>\u00a0from the Owls.<\/p>\n

This update came after it had already been shared that rising star Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri was set to link up with the Sky Blues this summer.<\/p>\n

Now, journalist Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Man City\u2019s pursuit of Collins this week.<\/p>\n

And he\u2019s now reporting that the Manchester outfit have agreed terms with the young Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> talent.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday compensation for Romario Collins<\/p>\n

As well as the two stars set to join Pep Guardiola\u2019s squad, another young player will leave the Owls soon.<\/p>\n

Sutura Kakay is departing, with Sheffield Wednesday \u2018locked in negotiations\u2019 with Southampton<\/a>\u00a0for compensation.<\/p>\n

The exact figures Wednesday will be due in compensation for each player is not known.<\/p>\n

However, a six-figure compensation fee for Collins has been mooted recently.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Owls will reportedly net somewhere in the region of \u00a32m for all three of the aforementioned players.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
