A SCOTTISH Wetherspoons has been named one of the best in the UK.<\/p>\n

The Caley Picture House in Edinburgh<\/a> received nearly 4,000 five-star reviews on Google<\/a> – securing its spot in third place. <\/p>\n

The Bishop Blaize in Manchester<\/a> was crowned the best in the UK<\/a> with 60 per cent ‘excellent’ reviews.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere the Royal Victoria Pavilion in Kent scooped second place and the Greenwood Hotel in London<\/a> was in fourth.<\/p>\n

The top ten in Scotland was also revealed, with The Prestwick Pioneer in South Ayrshire<\/a> and The John Fairweather in Glasgow<\/a> scooping second and third place respectively. <\/p>\n

The study found the best rated by the average total percentage of excellent reviews on Google Reviews.<\/p>\n

The research was carried out by online betting site Captain Caz.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for\u00a0Captain Caz\u00a0said: “Brits love going to their local Wetherspoons, particularly due to its low prices for both food and drink<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“As we look towards the summer with longer evenings and more trips to the pub, this study offers a fascinating insight into which \u2018locals\u2019 really are the best and stand apart from the rest. <\/p>\n

“Whilst the top ten see a variation when it comes to location, it does appear that pubs located in the South have higher ratings than further up North.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere beer lovers will have access to a new Wetherspoons<\/a> watering hole sooner than they originally thought.<\/p>\n
