The British summertime delivered once again on Sunday, with ever-changing conditions throughout race day at Silverstone making it a tough one to call.<\/p>\n

For Pit Wall Predictions players, presented by Gulf, it meant needing to be on top form to bag a decent haul of points from our home Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

But how did you get on \u2013 and did you outscore our Grove guru? (Spoiler alert: you probably did.) In fact, four players nailed a perfect round, securing the ultra-rare Pit Wall Perfection badge.<\/p>\n

Q1) On which lap will Alex make his first stop?<\/p>\n

Alex made his first visit to the pits on Lap 12, placing him inside the Lap 11\u201320 bracket. That meant a solid start for 40% of players.<\/p>\n

Q2) On which lap will Carlos make his first stop?<\/p>\n

Carlos boxed just one lap earlier than his teammate, coming in on Lap 11 \u2013 also putting him in the Lap 11\u201320 window. Five points went to the 30% of players who picked correctly.<\/p>\n

Q3) Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?<\/p>\n

Carlos was the first of our pair to pit, rewarding the 46% of players who opted for him.<\/p>\n

Q4) How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?<\/p>\n

In total, we made four stops \u2013 both drivers running an Intermediate\u2013Intermediate\u2013Medium strategy in the slippery Silverstone conditions. A little over 50% of players went with this answer.<\/p>\n

Gulf Driven By Words<\/p>\n

Submit five words a day that encapsulate the moments, ambitions and memories that make Williams and Gulf special <\/p>\n

Q5 & Q6) Which tyre will Alex and Carlos end their race on?<\/p>\n

Both Alex and Carlos crossed the line on the Medium compound. That meant 62% of players nailed Alex\u2019s final tyre choice, while 52% were correct for Carlos.<\/p>\n

Q7) How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?<\/p>\n

There were two VSC periods in the early phases of Sunday\u2019s race. That result netted five points for 51% of players.<\/p>\n

Q8) How many full Safety Car periods will there be?<\/p>\n

52% of players predicted the two full Safety Car deployments, ensuring a strong finish to their Silverstone scorecards.<\/p>\n

The Strategist\u2019s Score: 0\/8 \u2013 0 Points<\/p>\n

Not the home race our Grove-based guru had hoped for. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they submitted their predictions well before Sunday\u2019s forecast took shape\u2026 but still, no one wants a zero-point round on their record.<\/p>\n

That result sees them tumble from Rank 57 to 217 \u2013 but there\u2019s plenty of racing left this season to mount a comeback.<\/p>\n

At the top of the table, four players hit a remarkable 8\/8 (40 points), adding the Pit Wall Perfection badge to their collections.<\/p>\n
