A plush of the PS2? Of the actual console? You better believe it.<\/p>\n

That’s right, Sony’s record-breaking system will soon be available to buy in plush form. Just to be clear, this really is just a pillow \u2014 it’s not hiding a disc drive or anything like that.<\/p>\n

The plush is a rather large 16.5 inches tall, and it’s going to be priced at $30. At the time of writing, it’s only available to pre-order through US outlet BigBadToyStore<\/a>, with a vague ‘December 2025’ release window attached.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that this plush is being produced by Banprestro \u2014 Bandai Namco’s toymaking subsidiary. As such, we assume that it’s an official PlayStation product \u2014 but there’s no sign of the thing on any of Sony’s online storefronts. We’ll update this article if we learn more.<\/p>\n

Honestly, we think there’s a lot of money to be made here. We’re not sure every console design would work quite so well as a plush, but there’s a weirdly comforting kind of nostalgia to the whole thing. Plus, the original PS2’s got such an iconic look.<\/p>\n
