{"id":248752,"date":"2025-07-08T19:12:14","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T19:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/248752\/"},"modified":"2025-07-08T19:12:14","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T19:12:14","slug":"tour-de-france-abandons-all-of-the-riders-who-have-left-the-2025-race-so-far","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/248752\/","title":{"rendered":"Tour de France abandons: All of the riders who have left the 2025 race so far"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/giro-d-italia-women\/\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/giro-d-italia-women\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Giro d&#8217;Italia Women<\/a> is on the third day of racing, and while all 153 riders finished the opening individual time trial, stage 2 saw two riders abandon the race in Aprica, and three more forced to the sidelines on a <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/races\/giro-d-italia-women-2025\/stage-3\/results\/\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/races\/giro-d-italia-women-2025\/stage-3\/results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crash-marred stage 3<\/a> into Trento.<\/p>\n<p>There are now 148 riders in the peloton as the race heads back into the mountains with the second summit finish of the race on Wednesday.
