Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton took to social media to share several gorgeous photos from a recent holiday to the Dominican Republic with her boyfriend. The soap star <\/a>is renowned for her role as Lauren Bolton on the cobbles, after first arriving in Weatherfield three years ago.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old <\/a>has established herself as a major character on the ITV soap <\/a>since she joined the show in 2022. Lauren was heavily involved in the long-running Joel Deering saga and ended the villain’s reign of terror when she killed him in a dramatic episode last year.<\/p>\n

But Lauren’s troubles have continued in the show <\/a>as she was recently caught up in a spiking scandal when Aadi decided to host a party for the youngsters on the street.<\/a><\/p>\n

Lauren accidentally drank Aadi’s drink containing LSD, which led to a disastrous night when Lauren had intense hallucinations and was convinced that Joel had returned.<\/p>\n

Away from the screen, the actress’ life is fortunately much less dramatic and she regularly shares updates from her exciting life in showbiz on Instagram.<\/p>\n

She recently traded the Manchester weather<\/a> for a sunny trip to the Dominican Republic with her boyfriend Ben. Cait shared several gorgeous snaps during the trip, including bikini photos on the beach and posing for an evening out with a cocktail in hand.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Cait shared a roundup of photographs from the trip, which she captioned: “Postcards from DR” with a loveheart emoji. The selection of images included the actress dressed up in a long black dress as well as some wholesome photos alongside her partner.<\/p>\n

Fans rushed to the comments to complement the soap star. Sally Carman, who portrays Abi Webster on the cobbles, added: “Fit bit” with a heart eyes emoji. Cait replied: “Ooooo I love ya” with a kissy face emoji.<\/p>\n

One follower wrote: “Beautiful photos my love” and another said: “Gorgeous pics gorgeous coupe.” A third added: “I’m so glad you had a lovely time” while a fourth wrote: “So cute, hope you had the most amazing time.”<\/p>\n

Cait confirmed her romance on social media last month when she shared that her boyfriend had bought her a Jellycat toy. She later shared a photo to her Instagram story of the pair together with the words: “Happy birthday to my man. Thank you for blessing my life.”<\/p>\n

Coronation Street fans will have to wait until Thursday for their next share of the drama in Weatherfield. The soap will not air as planned this week due to a schedule shake-up on ITV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With Wimbledon on BBC<\/a> One and the UEFA Women’s Euros on ITV<\/a>, soap fans have nowhere to turn to as sport is set to takeover the schedule.<\/p>\n
