Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has launched its new direct flight between Bristol Airport (BRS\/EGGD) and Istanbul\u2019s Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en International Airport in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n

The three-times-per-week service took off for the first time today and will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.<\/p>\n

Istanbul is growing in popularity with tourists as a city break destination and as the city that spans two continents, it offers a host of different cultures and history to explore.<\/p>\n

For those looking to go further afield, there are 150 destinations available within T\u00fcrkiye and beyond across\u00a0Europe,\u00a0the Middle East, North Africa and\u00a0Asia on the Pegasus Airlines network.<\/p>\n

Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, said:\u00a0\u201cPegasus will be a fantastic addition to Bristol Airport providing even more opportunities for people to explore Turkey and beyond. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also good news for inbound tourism; for local communities who want to connect with family and friends; and for businesses in the South West and South Wales who have overseas interests.\u201d<\/p>\n
