A person has been taken to hospital after a bus collided with a pedestrian in Redcliffe.<\/p>\n
Redcliffe Bascule Bridge has been closed and drivers have been warned to avoid the area while emergency services are at the scene.<\/p>\n
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the scene at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, July 8.<\/p>\n
A force spokesperson said one person has been taken to hospital.<\/p>\n
Officers ask anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.<\/p>\n
Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cWe were called at around 3.30pm today (Tuesday 8 July) to a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian in Redcliffe Way, Bristol.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne person has been taken to hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cRedcliffe Bascule Bridge is closed to inbound traffic from St Mary Redcliffe Church to the Hole In The Wall pub. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.<\/p>\n
