Manny Pacquiao<\/a> makes his return to the ring this month, attempting to break his own record of being the sport\u2019s oldest welterweight world champion.<\/p>\n

At 46-years-old, the Filipino fighting sensation will challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC belt on July 19 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.<\/a> Though there is huge respect for Pacquiao in the sport, many have criticised the idea that he can walk straight into a title fight, and some have expressed concern for his health considering his age and inactivity.<\/p>\n

Regardless, the fight goes on and will be one of the biggest of the year given the story behind it. Should he win and become champion once again, Pacquiao told Covers.com<\/a> that he does not rule out further bouts.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now I cannot comment on my [future] situation. One at a time. One at a time. I don\u2019t want to plan for a future like that, I leave it to my God what\u2019s going to be tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018PacMan\u2019 has made no secret of the fact that he wants to avenge his 2015 loss to Floyd Mayweather<\/a> and still, ten years on, targets a rematch.<\/p>\n

However, he believes his rival \u2013 who has remained retired since 2017 and only now steps through the ropes for money-spinning exhibitions \u2013 wouldn\u2019t be interested.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Floyd Mayweather will fight me again, he\u2019s scared to death to fight again, that\u2019s what I\u2019m thinking.<\/p>\n
