Manchester United have responded favourably to Juventus in transfer discussions for Jadon Sancho<\/a>, who has already reached an agreement with the Serie A club, according to reports.<\/p>\n

It seems that Sancho’s move to Juventus is on the cards as United<\/a> aim to offload several players who don’t fit into Ruben Amorim’s plans for this season.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old winger, along with Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Tyrell Malacia, has delayed his return for pre-season training as he seeks a move away from the club.<\/a> Juventus are currently leading the race for his signature, which has also seen links to Napoli and Fenerbahce, and a potential swap deal has been suggested.<\/p>\n

Juventus have reportedly put forward Tim Weah, Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic as possible options to head in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n

Amorim is thought to be looking for a striker, a midfielder and a wing-back once United finalise a planned deal for Bryan Mbeumo,<\/a> using funds raised from player sales.<\/p>\n

The possibility of a swap deal could increase if Juventus find it difficult to meet United’s valuation of between \u00a320m and \u00a325m, reports GIVEMESPORT, via the Express<\/a>. It is claimed that United’s talks with Juve have been positive, and the feasibility of a transfer is expected to become clear this week.<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s reported that Luiz, the former Aston Villa midfielder who moved to Turin last summer, has been mentioned during the discussions.<\/a> United have reportedly expressed interest in the 27-year-old as part of their efforts to strengthen Amorim’s midfield.<\/p>\n

However, the main focus for the Old Trafford<\/a> club is to facilitate Sancho’s departure, with the onset of pre-season increasing the urgency to finalise deals. United’s first pre-season friendly is scheduled against Leeds United in Stockholm on July 19, before the team heads to America.<\/p>\n

Amorim will be eager to secure Mbeumo’s services before the tour, which includes matches against Everton, Bournemouth and West Ham United.<\/p>\n

He will also likely want to further reshape his squad by managing the departures of Sancho, Rashford and other surplus players. With no European football lined up this season, Amorim can operate with a leaner squad than last year.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if United manage to sign Mbeumo, the primary focus is expected to shift towards player sales, with Sancho’s deal appearing to be one of the most advanced.<\/p>\n
