\nCGI of the planned development on Bristol Road, Birmingham from Corstorphine & Wright<\/p>\n

Fusion Group, one of the UK\u2019s largest privately-owned developers and operators of student accommodation, is getting ready to start its first Birmingham development. And with HG Construction on board, it is new geography for both client and contractor.<\/p>\n

The Bristol Road-based scheme will comprise 622 beds across four blocks, ranging from eight to 17 storeys, designed by Corstorphine & Wright. Facilities include a basketball court, a two-storey gym, a yoga studio and wellness area, and external amenity areas. <\/p>\n

This is the first Birmingham scheme for HG Construction, which has expanded its national footprint to new locations including Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the last four years.\u00a0 It does, however, have a solid track record of building purpose-built student accommodation.<\/p>\n

The scheme adds to Fusion Group\u2019s growing development pipeline, which now exceeds 11,000 beds across the UK. <\/p>\n
