Tyson Fury<\/a> has sent advice the way of his rival Deontay Wilder<\/a> following the American\u2019s return to the ring.<\/p>\n

The two heavyweights shared three fights together, the first a controversial draw before Fury snatched the WBC title from Wilder in the second instalment via knockout and ended the third the same way to retain the belt.<\/p>\n

Since then, the American knockout artist has not found his famous destructive form outside of a quick stoppage over Robert Helenius. Wilder was beaten by Joseph Parker on points and then finished by Zhilei Zhang, leading to a year of inactivity.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old returned this month against countryman Tyrell Herndon in a fight in which he was set up to win convincingly. After seven rounds and two knockdowns, referee Ray Corona stepped in and waved it off in Wilder\u2019s favour.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite a 43rd stoppage on his record many were unconvinced by the performance. That includes Fury, who told assorted media last week that he wants to soo his old foe retire.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t see the full fight cause it was on at ridiculous hours in the morning, but I did see a clip on Instagram. I think IFL put a video out and I said please stop this man from his self. He\u2019s a shadow of his former glory.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know it\u2019s hard to hear that, but at 40 years old, the three fights with me done him. Completely ended his career. I know everyone\u2019s got his own reasons and everyone\u2019s entitled to do what they want, but it\u2019s sad to see really.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
