Insiders have revealed that Prince Harry is reportedly\u00a0set on repairing ties with the Royal Family<\/a> and is considering doing it without Meghan Markle<\/a> by his side. The Duke of Sussex has been at odds with his Royal kin for several years.<\/p>\n

His rapport with the royals soured following his dramatic 2020 departure and subsequent relocation to the United States<\/a>, which was compounded by a string of public criticisms aimed at the monarchy. Yet, in a recent BBC interview<\/a>, the Duke expressed a clear desire to make amends with his family.<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, sources suggest that Harry is actively strategizing his approach to reconciliation, including a potential solo journey back to the UK.<\/p>\n

Insiders indicate that the Duke has come to understand that mending fences with the monarchy may be more feasible without his wife’s involvement, fearing she might exacerbate tensions.<\/p>\n

Speaking to RadarOnline,<\/a> they shared: “He’s finally realised that the way he handled things before hasn’t brought any progress, and this marks a genuine shift in how he’s trying to move forward.”<\/p>\n

In regards to the Duchess, they commented: “Harry didn’t expect the fallout to drag on this long. He’s beginning to see that including Meghan only complicates things with the royals, so he’s accepted, though not happily, that going it alone might be the only option for now.”<\/p>\n

Harry is said to be eager to engage in “one-on-one conversations, mediation, or even video calls” with his estranged family members in an effort to reestablish communication.<\/p>\n

The source stated: “It’s incredibly hard for him. He cares deeply for Meghan, but he can’t deny the reality of the situation anymore.”<\/p>\n

The source added that if there’s any chance of reconnecting with his family, Harry knows he has to try without Meghan. This would involve returning to Britain alone, which would be a humbling experience.<\/p>\n

The source further mentioned that the Duke feels “totally lost” in the United States, as it’s his wife’s home country, not his.<\/p>\n

However, in an interview at the New York<\/a> Times DealBook Online Summit last December, Harry expressed his desire to stay in the US, indicating no plans to move back to the UK.<\/p>\n

Discussing his children and life in America, he stated: “I very much enjoy living here and bringing my kids up here. It’s a part of my life that I never thought I was going to live.<\/p>\n

“I feel as though it’s the life that my mum wanted for me. To be able to do the things I’m able to do with my kids that I undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the UK – it’s huge.
