Soulwax<\/a>, the Belgian electronic music duo of brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, have announced their first album in seven years. All Systems Are Lying<\/a> is out October 17 (via Deewee<\/a>\/Because Music<\/a>). Leading the follow-up to 2018\u2019s Essential are two new songs: the record\u2019s title track<\/a> and \u201cRun Free<\/a>.\u201d Listen to both below.<\/p>\n

In a press statement, Soulwax described All Systems Are Lying as \u201ca rock album made without any electric guitars.\u201d The duo continued, \u201cWe wanted to capture the feeling of a band playing electronic instruments\u2014live, loud and loose. This record is the result of that experiment\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside their work as Soulwax, the brothers Dewaele perform as 2manydjs<\/a> and run the label Deewee. In recent years, Deewee has issued standout works from Charlotte Adig\u00e9ry<\/a>, Bolis Pupul<\/a>, and Marie Davidson<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n
