Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Kensington Palace noted that both Middleton and her husband, Prince William, both 43, support Archer\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter 15 years, Natasha is leaving Kensington Palace where she\u2019s been an invaluable member of the private household,\u201d the palace told The Post in a statement. \u201cWe wish Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former assistant joined the royal family\u2019s inner circle in 2010. Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the years, Archer became a close confidant of Middleton\u2019s. <\/p>\n<p>In 2013, she was spotted arriving at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary\u2019s Hospital carrying an outfit and a baby seat shortly before the princess gave birth to Prince George.<\/p>\n<p>Archer has also acted as Middleton\u2019s unofficial stylist over a decade.<\/p>\n<p>Natasha Archer and and Maria Borrallo. PA Images via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The mom of two has helped curate the royal member\u2019s outfits for various engagements, including international tours in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, she even encouraged Prince William to sport a traditional sherwani\u00a0to a reception in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>That same year,\u00a0Archer received the Royal Victorian Order for her dedication and service to the royal family.<\/p>\n<p>Natasha Archer departs from Chopin airport. Her position includes managing \u201cclothing, diary, and projects,\u201d according to her LinkedIn profile.<\/p>\n<p>Archer tied the knot with Getty royal photographer Chris Jackson in 2017. The couple shares two sons. <\/p>\n<p>For the Prince and Princess of Wales, it is business as usual these days.<\/p>\n<p>The pair <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/08\/entertainment\/royal-family-live-updates-news-photos-july-8-9-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attended the French state dinner<\/a> on Tuesday, with Middleton dazzling in a red silk gown and a diamond tiara.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Natasha Archer arrives at Wellington Military Terminal in New Zealand. PA Images via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Princess Catherine <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/02\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-details-difficult-post-cancer-treatment-phase-after-missing-royal-ascot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opened up\u00a0about life post-cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While visiting Colchester Hospital in Essex, England, on July 2, she shared what it\u2019s been like to get back into her daily routine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment\u2019s done, then it\u2019s like, \u2018I can crack on, get back to normal,\u2019 but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult,\u201d the princess said.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Jackson and Natasha Archer. Dave Benett\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you\u2019re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to,\u201d she expressed. \u201cAnd actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Encouraging those to find their \u201cnew normal,\u201d Middleton added that it \u201ctakes time\u2026and it\u2019s a roller coaster, it\u2019s not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In March 2024, the mother of three revealed she was\u00a0being<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/08\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-plotting-return-to-public-life-amid-cancer-battle-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/03\/22\/world-news\/kate-middleton-announces-she-has-cancer-is-undergoing-chemotherapy-in-heartbreaking-health-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">treated\u00a0for an undisclosed type of cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Middleton visiting Mull, Scotland. WPA Pool\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>After staying largely out of the spotlight in the following months, the\u00a0princess thanked those who stuck by her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.\u00a0Life as you know\u00a0it\u00a0can change\u00a0in an instant\u00a0and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and\u00a0road unknown,\u201d she wrote at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cancer journey is complex, scary\u00a0and\u00a0unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.\u00a0With humility,\u00a0it also brings you\u00a0face to face\u00a0with your\u00a0own\u00a0vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Princess Catherine visits the RHS\u2019s Wellbeing Garden. Stefan Rousseau-PA\/POOL supplied by Splash News \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite all that has gone\u00a0before\u00a0I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life,\u201d Middleton detailed.<\/p>\n<p>In September, the princess announced that she\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/17\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-returns-to-work-for-first-time-since-finishing-chemotherapy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">had completed her chemotherapy treatments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In January, she\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DE0BZyJN1kt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote on Instagram<\/a>, \u201cIt is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prince William and Princess Kate.
