Now Natasha Archer is leaving Kensington Palace to set up a private consultancy business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Considered \u201cinvaluable\u201d to Kate\u2019s private household, Archer has been credited with helping the princess combine traditional elegance with modern fashion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Archer, known as Tash, works closely with the princess to decide what she will wear to public engagements. She became a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/article\/inside-kates-inner-circle-the-friends-who-will-support-her-sxdx3wjfm\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trusted member of the team<\/a> and her eye for detail meant that she took on the role of unofficial stylist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Shortly after the birth of Prince George in 2013, Archer arrived at St Mary\u2019s Hospital in Paddington, London, with Kate\u2019s hairdresser before the couple appeared on the steps of the Lindo Wing with their son.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">In 2022 she was promoted to senior private executive assistant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/article\/kate-middleton-best-outfits-fashion-style-80d0lr3jp\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Kate\u2019s style evolution: from tea dresses to coronation couture<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Archer is married to Chris Jackson, the Getty photographer chosen by the King and Queen to take their portrait on their 20th wedding anniversary in Italy this year and who was granted behind-the-scenes access on the day of the coronation. A friend of Archer confirmed that she was leaving to start her own styling consultancy and said: \u201cIt\u2019s a huge privilege to work so closely with the royal family for over 15 years but she is very much looking forward to new challenges and will cherish her time at Kensington Palace with the fondest of memories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">On Tuesday the princess attended her first state banquet in more than 18 months, seated next to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/article\/emmanuel-macron-king-charles-banquet-8wl79nntk\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Macron in St George\u2019s Hall at Windsor Castle<\/a>.
