{"id":252641,"date":"2025-07-10T05:16:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T05:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/252641\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T05:16:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T05:16:10","slug":"horrible-histories-the-concert-is-coming-to-liverpool-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/252641\/","title":{"rendered":"Horrible Histories The Concert is coming to Liverpool in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Get ready Liverpool \u2013 Horrible Histories is hitting the road for its biggest live show yet and it\u2019s heading to The Empire next year.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate 20 years of Horrible Histories Live on Stage, Birmingham Stage Company has teamed up with Lion Television to bring fans a brand-new production packed with favourite songs, characters and plenty of mischief from the BAFTA Award-winning BBC TV series.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time ever, Horrible Histories The Concert will see your best-loved (and worst-behaved) historical figures burst onto the stage \u2013 live and very much dead \u2013 backed by a live band playing all those brilliant TV songs.<\/p>\n<p>The show lands in Liverpool on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February 2026 for what promises to be a truly horrible half-term treat.<\/p>\n<p>This new concert special is written by the TV show\u2019s Ben Ward and Claire Wetton and will be led on stage by Horrible Histories song genius Richie Webb, who\u2019s behind every catchy tune you\u2019ve ever heard on the telly version.<\/p>\n<p>This time round, William Shakespeare is roped in to create the greatest show on earth \u2013 but things don\u2019t go to plan when he has to deal with big personalities like Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and Boudica all fighting for the spotlight.
