Manchester United have been handed an update on Atalanta midfielder Ederson. Recent reports from GOAL Brazil<\/a> claimed that the Brazilian is once again drawing interest from United\u2019s<\/a> hierarchy, who have made enquiries about the 26-year-old\u2019s availability this summer.<\/p>\n

However, the Reds are not alone in their pursuit, with both Inter Milan and Juventus also said to be monitoring the situation. The report adds that Atalanta will demand a fee in the region of \u20ac60million (\u00a351.6m) for Ederson during the summer transfer window and appear more open to selling him than in previous years.<\/p>\n

United were rumoured to be among several clubs interested in him last summer, alongside Premier League<\/a> rivals Chelsea<\/a> and Newcastle. But the Serie A club were unwilling to sanction a move at the time.<\/p>\n

And amid fresh rumours that Ederson is attracting interest from Old Trafford<\/a>, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest in his newsletter for GiveMeSport<\/a>. He claims that focus is currently on wrapping up a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s appreciated but he\u2019s also very expensive, so the situation is quiet at the moment,” he said. “Man United focus is on Mbeumo.”<\/p>\n

The player himself has recently insisted that he is happy to stay in Italy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very happy at Atalanta. I just won a great title, I am very well-integrated,\u201d Ederson told Spanish newspaper Diario AS.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy future is something that doesn\u2019t worry me. What worries me right now is doing well here with the Brazilian team, leaving a positive impression because it is my first call-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking sure everyone knows me here just like everyone knows me in Italy. I am very focused, very happy, trying to make the most of this moment with the national team.\u201d<\/p>\n
