Manchester United could face a busy few weeks in the summer transfer window with a host of deals that could be completed.<\/p>\n

United<\/a> have already made one new signing so far this summer with Matheus Cunha<\/a> joining from Wolves in a \u00a362.5million deal. United have until September 1 to complete their transfer business and could welcome more new additions to their squad.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim <\/a>will be busy preparing for his first season as United’s head coach, with some of those preparations being behind the scenes as well as on the training ground. Only time will tell what deals United are able to get over the line before the forthcoming deadline.<\/p>\n

Here, the Manchester Evening News<\/strong> takes a look at some of the latest United transfer news<\/a> and gossip that has emerged today.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo ‘frustration’<\/strong><\/p>\n

An update has emerged around United’s quest to sign Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.<\/p>\n

The London Evening Standard have claimed that Mbeumo has become “frustrated” by the amount of time it is taking for United and Brentford to agree a deal.<\/p>\n

United have already made two bids for the Cameroon international this summer, both of which have been rejected by the Bees.<\/a> The second bid was believed to be worth a total in excess of \u00a360million including add-ons.<\/p>\n

Ollie Watkins update<\/strong><\/p>\n

United are once again being linked with a move for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.<\/p>\n

Caught Offside have reported that United are still interested in signing the England international, but will apparently have to sell at least one star to make room in their squad.<\/a><\/p>\n

It has been claimed that United would need to sanction Rasmus Hojlund’s exit before being able to sign Watkins, which is deemed “unlikely” until the Denmark international leaves Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n
