Taking two hat-tricks in any match is a very rare occurrence.<\/p>\n

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc managed it in a Sheffield Shield game for New South Wales in 2017.<\/a><\/p>\n

It happened in England at Old Trafford 113 years ago when Australia’s Jimmy Matthews took two lots of three wickets against South Africa.<\/p>\n

But on both of those occasions, the six wickets were spread across two innings.<\/p>\n

Sadhak, who is from Ipswich, said there were plenty of celebrations at the club following his special achievement.<\/p>\n

“After the match I got plenty of phone calls,” he added.<\/p>\n

“We went to a restaurant and we enjoyed drinks and food. We spent almost two and a half hours there. It was a very lovely moment.”<\/p>\n

Of Sadhak’s six wickets, external<\/a>, five were bowled and the other caught – with five of the batters departing for ducks in IpsCol’s seven-wicket victory.<\/p>\n

So, surely his place in the team is now cemented? Well, Sadhak is not so certain…<\/p>\n

“There are lots of other players who play really well. So, I wouldn’t say I’m the first person on the teamsheet but I will be in a priority position!”<\/p>\n
