{"id":25485,"date":"2025-04-16T18:57:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T18:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/25485\/"},"modified":"2025-04-16T18:57:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T18:57:09","slug":"baltic-creative-cic-celebrates-a-successful-year-as-it-continues-to-support-creatives-in-the-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/25485\/","title":{"rendered":"Baltic Creative CIC celebrates a successful year as it continues to support creatives in the city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool\u2019s creative and digital business hub,\u00a0Baltic Creative CIC, is celebrating a successful 12-month period, having welcomed 11 new tenants to its spaces and facilitated the expansion of existing tenants across its extensive portfolio in the Baltic Triangle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The continued growth of Baltic Creative means that the community interest company now sustains more than 95 businesses across its 120,000 sq ft estate, the majority of which are SMEs or microbusinesses in the creative and digital sectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The hub has welcomed three new businesses since January, following a further eight new tenants arriving in the previous year. Newcomers include Alfie\u2019s Squad, a charity supporting young people bereaved by suicide; Little Vintage Photography; Docklands Speed Shop; Hand On Art Studio; Kanaval Consultancy; and MMA Design and Project Management.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The creative hub at Northern Lights has also seen positive growth, with the arrival of new artists, Ben Youdan, a mixed media artist, and Simon Hyde, a photographer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alongside these new arrivals, the hub has seen 14 lease renewals securing 16,081 sq ft of space. Two of Baltic Creative\u2019s existing tenants, artist Hazel Barrett and market-leading live events website Skiddle, were both able to move within the portfolio, resulting in them expanding into units more than double the size of their previous space to support their continued business growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/481913746_1024856666343387_4962896725996701088_n-e1744764918444.jpg\" alt=\"Baltic Creative\" class=\"wp-image-218899\"\/>Credit: Baltic Creative CIC<\/p>\n<p>With a diverse mix of businesses, the hub continues to strengthen its position as a supporter for enterprise and innovation. The community continues to grow, with the arrival of new businesses, reinforcing the area\u2019s strong reputation as a thriving destination for the creative and digital industries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For the past 15 years, the creative hub has supported local and global businesses to thrive in Liverpool, transforming the Baltic Triangle area into a vital hub for the North West\u2019s creative and digital sector.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Maggie Mullan, Principal at MMA Design and a tenant at Baltic Creative, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was drawn to the Baltic Triangle for its strong sense of community, and the shopfront space was the perfect fit for MMA Architects and Design.
