{"id":254920,"date":"2025-07-11T01:19:21","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T01:19:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/254920\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T01:19:21","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T01:19:21","slug":"germany-ready-to-fund-2-us-patriot-systems-for-ukraine-norway-to-provide-1-zelenskyy-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/254920\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany ready to fund 2 US Patriot systems for Ukraine, Norway to provide 1, Zelenskyy says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISTANBUL<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday said Germany is ready to pay for two Patriot air defense systems for Ukraine and Norway will cover the cost for one more.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a joint news conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, Zelenskyy emphasized a coordinated push for more weapons production, including interceptor drones, to counter Russian attacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe talked about funding for the Ukrainian defense forces so that our military can feel confident,\u201d he said. \u201cThere will be more investment in production, in particular, drones \u2013 interceptor drones and everything needed to shoot down Russian strikes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zelenskyy also confirmed that after what he described as \u201cvery constructive and very positive\u201d talks with US President Donald Trump, Ukraine had received the political green light for resumed weapons deliveries from Washington.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe agreed on all this.
