While much has been reported when it comes to Leeds United pursuing goalkeepers, defenders or midfielders, little has emerged in terms of a replacement for Manor Solomon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite scoring the title-winning goal and having a hand in 23 goals for Leeds<\/a> last season, Solomon has returned to Tottenham. Solomon wants a second chance<\/a>, and Thomas Frank is keen to take a look at him<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leeds have been left with three wingers, lacking a starting option on the left of the attack. The Whites have brought in a replacement for Junior Firpo but are yet to do so when it comes to replacing Solomon.<\/p>\n

However, loose reports emerged this week that suggested Leeds had tabled a \u00a313m bid for Nice winger Jeremie Boga<\/a>. The Ivory Coast international is looking for a move, seven years after leaving Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Leeds and Sunderland were always going to meet each other at the negotiating table this summer given they are two of the three promoted clubs. But in the manner they have, not many Leeds fans saw coming.<\/p>\n

It appears Sunderland are simply looking at Leeds\u2019 list of targets and then signing them. Leeds bid \u00a322m for Habib Diarra<\/a>, Sunderland signed him. Leeds bid for Noah Sadiki<\/a>, Sunderland signed him for \u00a317.5m.<\/p>\n

Sadiki even confirmed Leeds\u2019 bid this week<\/a>. Reinildo Mandava was approached by both Sunderland and Leeds and has chosen the former<\/a>, while Lens playmaker Neil El Aynaoui has been linked with both sides<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Talks have also been held for Matthis Albine from both Leeds and Sunderland<\/a>, LeedsUnited.News<\/strong> has been told. Now, 24 hours after it emerged Leeds had bid for Boga, Takvim<\/a> say Sunderland are interested.<\/p>\n

Trabzonspor join Leeds in bidding for Boga with talks ongoing<\/p>\n

The report from Takvim states that Sunderland are interested alongside Leeds, but that it is Turkish side Trabzonspor that are pushing for Boga\u2019s signature. Boga\u2019s asking price has steadily come down of late.<\/p>\n

Trabzonspor have also made a bid, believed to be in the region of \u00a37m and \u00a37.75m, with a lucrative wage offered to Boga. That is even though, Trabzonspor failed to qualify for European football in 2024-25.<\/p>\n
