Noel Gallagher has officially arrived in Manchester ahead of Oasis’ huge comeback gigs at Heaton Park<\/a> taking place over the next ten days.<\/p>\n

Noel was spotted as he arrived at one of the city’s swankiest hotels – the five star Stock Exchange<\/a> Hotel right in the heart of Manchester city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And it appears Man City fan Noel<\/a> has put football allegiances to one side with his booking – as the hotel is famously owned by Manchester United legend Gary Neville<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It has become the hotel of choice though in recent months for visiting A-listers and rock ‘n’ roll royalty.<\/p>\n

Bruce Springsteen booked out the entire \u00a323,000-a-night hotel for his week-long stay<\/a> in Manchester back in May, following in the footsteps of Madonna who also block-booked the venue the year before.<\/p>\n

In recent days Justin Timberlake has stayed at the hotel, while Noel may find himself breakfasting with Jeff Lynne, who has also been staying at the luxury hotel while performing at the Co-op Live arena this week.<\/p>\n

While Noel arrived in the sun-soaked city on Thursday afternoon, there was no sign of brother Liam. The MEN understands he will not be staying at the same hotel as Noel.<\/p>\n

Noel appeared relaxed as he arrived at the hotel, chomping on an apple as he greeted a number of fans who had set up camp outside the hotel doorway.<\/p>\n

He stopped to sign memorabilia for some fans, before making his way inside.<\/p>\n

He was dressed casually in a white t-shirt, blue jacket and jeans, with a gold necklace around his neck.<\/p>\n

The hotel’s owner, former Reds captain Neville, is known to be a big Oasis fan, although he and Noel have engaged in plenty of bracing football banter over the years.<\/p>\n

After the Gallaghers made their reunion announcement, Gary took to Twitter<\/a> to joke that “Manchester’s second most famous brothers make a comeback.”<\/p>\n

He also shared an image of the guitar that Noel signed for him 20 years ago – in which Noel wrote a savage message to say: “Dear Gary. How many caps have you got for England!! How many have you deserved?? I’ll tell you… F****** NONE!! Lots of love, Noel Gallagher x M.C.F.C.”<\/p>\n

Noel reunited with brother Liam on stage for the first time in 16 years at the weekend in those huge Oasis Live ’25 comeback shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.<\/p>\n

Until last weekend, the brothers had not performed together since v Festival in 2009, which led to a backstage fight at a gig in Paris and the band’s split.<\/p>\n

The Oasis Live ’25 tour was announced last August, two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe. It was the biggest concert launch ever seen in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Gallaghers, together with original Oasis bandmate Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, will play at Heaton Park on Friday night, Saturday night (July 12), as well as next Wednesday (July 16).<\/p>\n

They’ll finish the Manchester leg of the tour off with back-to-back shows on Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, 20 July.<\/p>\n
