Owner Dan Kugler is working to open the caf\u00e9 for his son-in-law, Shai Kornblau, who has always dreamed of owning his own caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Kugler, an experienced professional in the window treatment and design industry, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonjewishweek.com\/silver-spring-kosher-cafe-to-open-in-early-june\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Washington Jewish Week<\/a> in May that he aims to serve food made exclusively with high-quality kosher ingredients certified by the Vaad Harabanim of Greater Washington while collaborating with one of Israel\u2019s top chefs to create the restaurant\u2019s menu.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can expect a kosher dairy menu featuring fresh bagels, omelets, paninis, salads, fish, soft-serve ice cream, and locally roasted Nagadi Coffee. The menu will be expanded to include dinner options about four to six weeks after opening, as the restaurant is currently in the process of obtaining a wine license.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Nestled in the heart of Silver Spring, MD, Cafe K exudes warmth and welcomes guests with open arms.
