Luis Diaz\u2019s transfer saga look set to run a little longer into the summer as Liverpool dig their heels in over his exit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diaz is attracting big interest from across Europe and beyond after an excellent season for the Reds last term.<\/p>\n

But, as Rousing The Kop reported on Thursday, Liverpool do not want to lose Diaz<\/a>. Although they do not wish to extend the Colombian\u2019s contract, they are currently determined that he does not leave.<\/p>\n

This stance was reportedly set to be tested this week, after reports from Germany claimed that a bid had arrived from Bayern Munich for Diaz.<\/p>\n

SportBILD<\/a> insisted that an offer of around \u00a345m had been lodged from Munich, with the German champions set to accelerate a potential move.<\/p>\n

However, conflicting reports have now arrived, with a response from Liverpool<\/a> very clear in the Reds\u2019 intentions. <\/p>\n

If Bayern had sent an offer of \u00a345m Liverpool\u2019s way, then it would likely have been rejected outright by the Reds.<\/p>\n

RTK understands Liverpool value Diaz at well above the \u00a365m mark and will not even think about doing business for less.<\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail<\/a>, however, claims that an offer is on the table are erroneous anyway. They report that no such bid has arrived.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, they claim that Liverpool plan to \u2018swat away\u2019 any formal interest which arrives in Diaz as they maintain their not-for-sale stance.<\/p>\n

Journalist Ben Jacobs also reiterated that an offer has not come Liverpool\u2019s way, issuing a strong response from Anfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano clarifies Luis Diaz updates<\/p>\n

With conflicting reports arriving over what\u2019s going on with Diaz, journalist Fabrizio Romano provided a late night update over the saga.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Taking to his YouTube channel in the early hours of Friday morning, Romano confirmed that there are no advanced talks happening between Diaz, Liverpool, Bayern or Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the moment Liverpool insist on their position on Luis Diaz. They insist that they are not in active or advanced talks with Bayern at this stage,\u201d says the transfer expert.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow it\u2019s probably going to be up to the player to decide what he wants to do and communicate with Liverpool. Diaz is Barcelona\u2019s top target and Bayern are looking for a winger and they like him for sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to be a story to clarify in the next days, probably next week we will understand more on this situation,\u201d Romano adds. But Luis Diaz is not in advanced negotiations at this stage of the summer transfer window.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
