Leeds United have made some shocking transfer decisions over the years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The one that stands out the most is Jean Kevin-Augustin\u2019s controversial \u00a324.5m move<\/a>, which turned into a disaster after playing a total of 48 minutes.<\/p>\n

In the current squad though, it has to be said that Isaac Schmidt\u2019s<\/a> \u00a32.5m arrival is also proving to be a waste.<\/p>\n

The full-back didn\u2019t start a single league game, playing just 71 minutes in the Championship, which has led to Schmidt considering his Leeds future<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can\u2019t blame the 25-year-old who hasn\u2019t been treated the best by Daniel Farke<\/a>, but Schmidt still has time, but the same can\u2019t be said for this other Leeds<\/a> squad member.<\/p>\n

It could be a better season for Schmidt, who will be on Farke\u2019s back for minutes with the option of leaving on the table.<\/p>\n

When he has played, Schmidt has impressed<\/a>, which brings more reason why the Swiss international does warrant more game time.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, he\u2019s still got somewhat of a future at Elland Road<\/a>, but for Max Wober<\/a>, his tenure has been bleak to say the least, despite a contribution or two.<\/p>\n

Since his \u00a311m move to Leeds, the defender just hasn\u2019t managed to settle one bit.<\/p>\n

After an underwhelming spell in the Premier League, Wober forced a loan move to Borussia M\u00f6nchengladbach<\/a>, which then meant surely he would be sold.<\/p>\n

However, the Austrian played a minimal part in the title-winning campaign, which has now led Wober to be loaned again to Werder Bremen, where Wober said last year was \u2018tough\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans are confused about Wober\u2019s loan, but journalist Adam Pope<\/a> has made a very bold comment on the Austrian to the Don\u2019t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cFans are asking, \u2018Why haven\u2019t they sold him?\u2019 It\u2019s clear there was no future. The most pointless transfer of all time,\u201d Pope said. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe hasn\u2019t really contributed to Leeds; it was inevitable he had to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

How Wober loan deal benefits Leeds more<\/p>\n

With it being made clear that Wober was asked to leave<\/a>, it\u2019s hard to believe he\u2019s still a Leeds player.<\/p>\n

Of course, he will endure the season on loan once again in Germany, but why wasn\u2019t the 27-year-old sold permanently?<\/p>\n

Well, it\u2019s been explained in a genius move from the 49ers<\/a> that Wober\u2019s loan has created PSR headroom<\/a> through the fact that money has been saved on his wages.<\/p>\n

This means they can use the additional funds to theoretically sign a player for \u00a310 million due to saving \u00a32m on Wober\u2019s wages from this loan.<\/p>\n
