The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team topped the timesheets in Free Practice One, with Alex Lowes as the fastest rider at his home circuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was Alex Lowes who started the United Kingdom World Superbike Round at the top of the timesheets; the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider had a 0.001-second advantage over the field.<\/p>\n

Nicolo Bulega was the closest to the British rider in Free Practice One as he put the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati in second place on the timesheets.<\/p>\n

Toprak Razgatlioglu was only 0.048 seconds behind Lowes at the end of the opening session of the weekend for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.<\/p>\n

Danilo Petrucci started off a run of six Ducati riders on the timesheets. The Italian rider ended the morning session in fourth place on the Barni Spark Racing Team machine.<\/p>\n

Andrea Iannone had a positive morning as he finished in fifth place on the Team Pata GoEleven Ducati Panigale V4 R.<\/p>\n

Just missing out on the top five in Free Practice One was British rider, Sam Lowes, the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider started his weekend in sixth place.<\/p>\n

Fresh off the back of signing his new deal with the Barni Spark Racing Team for 2026, Yari Montella had a positive morning at Donington Park as he finished in seventh place.<\/p>\n

British riders Ryan Vickers and Scott Redding both put together positive mornings on their Ducati Panigale V4 R’s as they finished in eighth and ninth places.<\/p>\n

Completing the top ten was the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team rider, Garrett Gerloff. The American rider seems to have had a breakthrough with the ZX-10RR in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Two British riders missed out on the top ten on Friday morning, with Jonathan Rea ending up in 11th and Tommy Bridewell starting his wildcard weekend in 21st.<\/p>\n
