Trainspotting was a cult hit in the 90s, and now author Irvine Welsh has written a sequel named Men in Love.<\/p>\n

Although he’s written about the characters in the book, which was also a hit film, in the years since, the new novel covers events in the immediate aftermath.<\/p>\n

The BBC’s Katie Razzall met up with him in Leith to discuss the inspiration behind his work and the challenges facing modern-day society.<\/p>\n
