4<\/p>\n The woman was violently shoved by two men during the incidentCredit: Facebook 4<\/p>\n She was pushed and landed on a couchCredit: Facebook 4<\/p>\n The assault took place in Bar 50 in Edinburgh over the weekendCredit: Facebook<\/p>\n A video<\/a> taken inside the bar showed a large man in a white t-shirt heavily shoving a woman backwards onto a couch.<\/p>\n One of the women\u2019s friends tries to bat him away before he angrily points a finger in her face.<\/p>\n The woman who was shoved then pushes him away, before a second large man gives her a heavy two-handed shove back onto the seats, and a thud could be heard as she lands.<\/p>\n The group of women are heard shouting for the bouncer to \u201cget him out\u201d as the second man is seen pushing the first one towards the exit.<\/p>\n A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n The woman who was thrown onto the seat has since claimed parts of the assault<\/a> which were not captured on video saw her grabbed by the hair and pulled to the ground.<\/p>\n She said the attack<\/a> came out of nowhere and was totally unprovoked.<\/p>\n She told The Scottish Sun: \u201cWe walked past their table and they say something, I thought they were talking to me, so I says, are you, are you ok? And then I was like, are you having a good night<\/p>\n \u201cAfter that I sat down and the guy in the grey chucked a drink<\/a> over me.<\/p>\n \u201cThen the guy in the white jumper went over my seat and told me \u2018you’re f*****g lucky\u2019 and pointed at my face, so I stood up, and then a woman pulls me down to the floor by the hair, and then he pulls me off his wife and pushes me.<\/p>\n Shock moment Aston Villa and PSG fans brawl ahead of Champions League tie as chairs & punches thrown<\/p>\n \u201cI don’t know if they thought I was someone else or something, it was so unprovoked and I don’t know why it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n She told how she has suffered a pain in her neck after being thrown onto the couch, but fears her injuries<\/a> could have been much worse had he fallen to the floor.<\/p>\n She added: \u201cIt\u2019s more my neck that hurts because it jerked as I fell but if the seat wasn\u2019t there then it could have been a lot worse.\u201d<\/p>\n After the men<\/a> left the bar, the police<\/a> were called to the scene.<\/p>\n It is understood officers are currently probing the assault.<\/p>\n The woman who was attacked claim Bar 50 has said they will be upping security after the incident.<\/p>\n Read more on the Scottish Sun<\/p>\n A Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cWe were made aware of a woman who was assaulted at licensed premises on Blackfriars Street in Edinburgh<\/a> around 11.05pm on Saturday, 12 April, 2025.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one was injured and enquiries are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n![\"Woman](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ab64a1a4-d614-4036-adc6-e426a21fbbef.jpg\")
