The Emmy-winning actress, who plays the cosmic antihero in the upcoming Marvel reboot, continued her run of character-inspired fashion with a soft but metallic finish at Friday\u2019s event, held at the Corinthia Hotel.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor footwear, the Gucci Silk Craftsmanship campaign star<\/a> opted for a pair of minimalist silver Jimmy Choo<\/a> sandals<\/a> featuring a thin toe strap, matching ankle strap and sharply flared stiletto heel, rendered in mirror-finish leather. The narrow silhouette and high-gloss finish offered a quiet nod to the streamlined, metallic look of her character\u2019s surfboard \u2014 an understated continuation of the method dressing she\u2019s embraced throughout the press tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tStyled by longtime collaborator Elizabeth Saltzman, Garner chose a silver sequined dress from Erdem\u2019s resort 2026 collection<\/a> to complete the loook. The sleeveless, midi-length silhouette was embroidered with tonal florals and finished with delicate white lace at the neckline and hem. True to Erdem\u2019s knack for mixing past and present, the piece combined romantic, historical touches with a modern, high-shine edge \u2014 a subtle nod to the futuristic elements of her \u201cFantastic Four\u201d role.<\/p>\n

\n\tJust one day earlier, Garner wore a sculptural, asymmetric silver gown by Thom Browne for the film\u2019s red carpet premiere. While her shoes weren\u2019t visible beneath the gown\u2019s full-length hem, the new Choo sandals carried forward the same tonal palette and Space-Age gloss. Both looks leaned into sleek, sculpted silhouettes and metallic finishes that echoed the Space-Age aesthetic of her character.<\/p>\n

\n\tGarner isn\u2019t the only star letting her shoes do some character work. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande took a similar route while promoting \u201cWicked\u201d<\/a> in late 2024 and early 2025 \u2014 a press run that helped earned both women Oscar nominations. Erivo leaned into Elphaba with towering witchy platforms, while Grande channeled Glinda\u2019s charm in vintage-style pumps with a bubblegum flair.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Fantastic Four: First Steps\u201d marks the third cinematic reboot of Marvel\u2019s iconic superhero team since 2005. This time, the foursome is played by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby<\/a>, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, as they battle cosmic threats including Galactus and the Silver Surfer, portrayed by Garner.
