After 16 years away from their hometown, Oasis returned to the stage<\/a> with an epic show at Manchester’s Heaton Park<\/a> this evening.<\/p>\n

Expectations had been high after two huge opening shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium<\/a> last weekend, but as you would expect on home turf they somehow managed to top it with their first gig back in the city.<\/p>\n

Until last weekend, the brothers had not performed together since v Festival in 2009, which led to a backstage fight at a gig in Paris and the band’s <\/a>split.<\/p>\n

The Oasis Live ’25 tour was announced last August, two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe. It was the biggest concert launch ever seen in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

Tonight’s show was the of their Manchester residency, which will also see them play Saturday night (July 12), as well as next Wednesday (July 16). They’ll finish it off with back-to-back shows on Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, 20 July.<\/p>\n

Following Manchester, the brothers will tour the rest of the UK and Ireland, stopping off in London, Edinburgh and Dublin before heading overseas for a string of dates in North and South America, Asia and Australia.<\/p>\n

After greeting more than 72,000 people in the crowd, Oasis launched into Hello followed by <\/strong>Acquiesce. It was then that Liam spoke to the home crowd for the first time, telling them they look stunning.<\/p>\n

They then moved on to Morning Glory before playing through more classic Oasis tracks, including Roll With It and Supersonic. Here is the set list updated live during the gig.<\/p>\n
