(Photo by Mark Thompson\/Getty Images)\t<\/p>\n<p>McLaren F1 star Lando Norris has sold a majority stake in Quadrant, the entertainment and gaming brand he founded, to a company backed by Adrian Newey.<\/p>\n<p>London-based Veloce Media Group has agreed a deal which will see Norris remain the second-largest shareholder in Quadrant with a stake of more than 20 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Quadrant was set up by the F1 star in 2020 and closed a seven-figure investment round in January last year.<\/p>\n<p>The raise also saw YouTuberer\u00a0\u2018WillNE\u2019, whose real name is Will Lenney, become a co-owner.<\/p>\n<p>Veloce Media Group was already a shareholder in the company along with Lando Norris\u2019 manager and driving coach, Mary Berryman, through his Add Management company.<\/p>\n<p>The largest single stake in Quadrant was held by Lando Norris and his dad, Adam, through Celero Promotions.<\/p>\n<p>Wakefield-based United Autosports, which is co-owned by McLaren CEO Zak Brown, also owned shares in Lando Norris\u2019 business.<\/p>\n<p>Ruffer\u2019s investment chief,\u00a0Henry Maxey, Jim Esposito, the former head of Goldman Sachs\u2019 investment bank and Workday CEO Carl Eschenbach were also shareholders.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tRead more<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<a class=\"read-more__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/red-bull-sack-christian-horner-in-major-formula-1-shock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Red Bull sack Christian Horner in major Formula 1 shock<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Veloce Media Group reported \u00a312.8m in annual revenue for the financial year ending June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Quadrant reported negative total equity of \u00a3405,221 for 2023 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/quadrant-mclaren-f1-star-lando-norris-gaming-brand-in-the-red\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">October last year.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Land Norris\u2019 firm a \u2018fantastic success story\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Jamie MacLaurin, CEO of Quadrant, added: \u201cJoining forces with the Veloce Media Group marks an exciting new chapter for Quadrant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, we\u2019re combining two leading forces in motorsport content, talent, and community, and we\u2019re now poised to accelerate our growth and push the boundaries of what we can achieve over the months and years ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Bailey, CEO of Veloce Media Group, added: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to welcome Quadrant to the ever-growing Veloce family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe business has been a fantastic success story;
